As COVID restrictions lessen alongside people getting vaccinated against the coronavirus, many 4th of July events around the Upstate have returned this year.

Saturday, July 3rd Events

First Flight Alliance's America's 5k, A Fourth of July Celebration! - 8 A.M.

• Starts at Anderson County Courthouse, 100 South Main Street, Anderson
• A one-mile run that starts at 8 A.M. and a 5k run that starts at 8:30 A.M.
• Register online at yourfirstflight.org and pick up your package between 12 P.M. and 6 P.M. on Friday, July 2nd at the Carolina Wren Park in Anderson. Nurses, teachers, military and first responders have free entry. All proceeds go to Operation Active Kids.

Fourth of July Fireworks Show Celebartion at Lake Hartwell - 11 A.M. - 11 P.M.

• Big Water Marina & Campground, 320 Big Water Road, Starr
• Food trucks, live music and a fireworks show
• The Blood Connection will also be hosting a blood drive at the location from 2 P.M. to 7 P.M.

First Annual Honea Path Independence Day Celebration - 11 A.M. till dark

• Honea Path Recreation Department, 2 Louisiana Street, Honea Path
• Free event featuring food and drink vendors, live music, recreational activities, various vendors, free swimming, a parade and a fireworks show

Pickens Fourth of July Celebration - 6 P.M. - 9:30 P.M.

• Pickens Amphitheater, 114 West Main Street, Pickens
• Free event featuring live music from the Carolina Beggars and a fireworks show that evening

Clemsonfest - 5 P.M. - 10 P.M.

• Spittoono event venue, 1569 Eighteen Mile Road, Central
• Free event featuring food vendors, games, live music, crafts, a flag raising ceremony, and fireworks that begin at 9:30 P.M.

Sunday, July 4th Events

4th Annual Red, White and BlueRidge Community Celebration - 6 P.M.

• Locust Hill Baptist Church, 4434 Locust Hill Road, Traveler's Rest
• Free event with food, snacks, live entertainment, and a fireworks show that starts at 9:30 P.M.

Clearview Baptist Church 4th of July Celebration - 6:30 P.M.

• Clearview Baptist Church, 5611 State Park Road, Traveler's Rest
• Free event with food, bouncy houses, and fireworks later in the night

City of Simpsonville's Celebrate Simpsonville - 5:30 P.M.

• CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park, 861 SouthEast Main Street, Simpsonville
• Concessions, live music featuring Rodney Atkins among others, and fireworks

City of Spartanburg's Red, White and Boom - 6 P.M. - 10 P.M.

• Barnet Park, 248 East John Street, Spartanburg
• Free event featuring food and a 9:30 P.M. fireworks show put on by Zambelli Fireworks

Ciclops & Boom! 4th of July Celebration - 3 P.M. - 10 P.M.

• Ciclops Cyderi & Brewery, 197 East Saint John Street, Spartanburg
• Special event menu, games, and a view of the Barnet Park fireworks

Historic Easley 4th of July Festival - 3 P.M. - 10 P.M.

• Old Market Square in Downtown Easley
• Free event on both July 3rd and 4th, featuring live music from various bands both days and a 9:45 P.M. fireworks show on July 4th

Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church's Annual Freedom Celebration - 7 P.M.

• Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 101 Pisgah Road, Easley
• Free event featuring a worship service with Birth-K5 childcare available during the service, food trucks and a 9:15 P.M. fireworks show
