A couple arrested and charged with Unlawful Conduct of a Child after an infant was found unresponsive in a bathtub.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded after EMS received a call of an unresponsive child at a home on Hunts Bridge Road yesterday afternoon.
Upon arrival, life-saving measures were conducted, and the child was taken to the hospital, where they are now said to be in stable but critical condition.
According to reports, 28-year-old Lynda Leigh Nicole Lawson and her boyfriend, 26-year-old Robert Eugene Bull, Jr, left the child unattended in a bathtub and found them unresponsive when they returned. The home itself was also found to be in what was described as “deplorable and unsafe” condition.
Both are charged with four counts each of Unlawful Conduct Towards a Child, one for each of the four children in the home. They are currently being held in the Greenville County Detention Center on $20,000 bonds.
The investigation is still ongoing.
