A crash in the Upstate from earlier this year has now turned fatal. The Greenville County Coroner's Office says 44 year old, Sharyon Teresa Benson of Greenville died Friday afternoon at Greenville Memorial.
Her death came about 6 weeks after suffering critical injuries. The crash happened on April 27th on Highway 291 and Worley Road in Greenville. The Coroner's Office says Benson died from complications caused by blunt force trauma to her head and neck.
