An Upstate Deputy has been fired after he was arrested in the Midlands, over the weekend. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office says 37 year old, Deputy Justin Eric Gray was arrested Saturday in Newberry County.
Gray was charged with public disorderly conduct. The Newberry County Sheriff's Office says Gray and another man were both arrested after an altercation in Whitmire, Sunday evening.
Gray had been a school resource officer in Cherokee County since being hired there, last year.
