An Upstate Deputy is recovering after being injured in the line of duty. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says a deputy was injured during a crash on I-85 near mile marker 46, just before 4AM Friday.
The Sheriff's Office says, the deputy was assisting another deputy with a traffic stop when the crash occurred. Everyone involved in the wreck was taken to a hospital to be treated. Officials say the deputy is expected to make a full recovery.
The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
