An Upstate firefighter is dead after a weekend motorcycle crash in Greenville County. The Coroner's Office responded to the area of Ashmore Bridge Road and Sonoma Drive in Mauldin around 6:30 PM, Sunday.
Upon arrival, the victim of the crash was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased has been identified as 27 year old, Joshua Robert Gardo of Pickens.
The coroner’s office said Gardo was a firefighter with the Gantt District Fire Department. The crash remains under investigation by the Coroner's Office and Mauldin Police Department.
