An infant in California died and at least 10 more people around the nation reported becoming ill from a Listeria outbreak tied to an Upstate food provider.
The U.S.D.A says that YuShang Food of Spartanburg had more than 70,000 pounds of meat and poultry recalled after it was ried to the outbreak. The company had some products recalled earlier this month, however officials say YuShang had already shipped products nationwide.
11 People in four different states reportedly got sick from the outbreak. In California a woman who contracted Listeria gave birth two twins who died at the hospital. However, Just one of the twins tested positive for Listeria, the mother survived the incident
