A house fire in the Upstate Thursday morning has left one person hospitalized. The Cherokee Springs Fire Department responded to the 500 block of Burns Road in Spartanburg, just before 830AM.
Firefighters arrived and found the home ablaze. The house suffered heavy fire and smoke damage.
One person was injured and was taken to a local hospital. There's been no further details released, as of the time of this report.
