An Upstate detention officer is facing charges after being accused of having sex with an inmate. SLED says 34 year old, Jamil McKenzie is charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Sexual Misconduct with an inmate.
Investigators say McKenzie had sex with an inmate while on duty at the Greenville County Detention Center in June of this year.
