An Upstate man is facing federal child sex crime charges. Federal Investigators say, the Arkansas Department Of Probation did a home visit with a man there after it was reported that he was involved in distributing child sexual abuse material.
During a search of the Arkansas home, messages were found from an Upstate man talking about sexually abusing a child. The user was identified as Tyshaun Jerome Smith of Fountain Inn. Investigators say Smith sent the man sexually explicit videos of minors.
Smith was then arrested for distributing child sexual abuse material and other charges. He was booked and has since been released on bond.
