An Upstate man is facing charges in a double murder case in Western North Carolina. Court records say that 42 year old, Christopher Shane Turner of Spartanburg has been arrested on two counts of murder and 1st degree arson.
Those charges came after a house fire in Saluda last month, that left Robert and Wendy Peck dead. Officials say Turner also faces additional charges of larceny and possession of a stolen vehicle.
Polk County Sheriff Tim Wright says investigators are still working to gather evidence in the case.
