A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in the Upstate, Wednesday. The wreck happened just before 1030AM on I-85 Business South near mile marker 3 in Spartanburg County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the motorcyclist was approaching traffic and was trying to slow down, when they lost control and spilled into the roadway. The motorcyclist was injured and was taken to a hospital, where they later died.
The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as 22-year-old Nathan Brian Henson, of Wellford. It's the latest deadly crash in Spartanburg County which is leading the state in traffic fatalities.
