The South Carolina Highway Patrol says, a Piedmont man who was riding in a trash truck was thrown out and trapped beneath it. The crash happened when the truck went out of control and overturned Thursday afternoon, in Anderson County.
The truck ran off of Roberts Church Road, hit a tree then rolled over. The victim has been identified as, 60 year old Dennis Maxwell Beeman Sr. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 4:00 PM . The driver of the truck was not hurt.
