An Upstate man is set to spend the majority of the next two decades in prison for a sex crime. 47 year old, Michael O'Neal Armstrong of Gaffney has pleaded guilty to 1st degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.

The victim in the case was 13 year old, when she spoke about the crime during a forensic exam at the Child Advocacy Center. Armstrong was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexual assault. He will be required to serve 85 percent of the sentence, roughly 17 years before being eligible for parole.
