Court records say, Tenney made plans to travel to D.C. and posted on social media prior to January 6th " It's starting to look like we may siege the Capitol Building and Congress if the electoral votes don't go right". The U.S. Attorney's Office claims that Tenney entered the Capitol and was the first person to open the Rotunda doors to allow other rioters inside.

Tenney was arrested last June in Anderson County, he faces a maximum of 25 years in total for the two felony charges. He's set to be sentenced in late October.
