A Southern dining institution known for never closing, was the scene of an Upstate weekend shooting. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at the Waffle House on Augusta Road in Greenville, around 5:30 AM Saturday morning.
Deputies located the victim as she was on the way to the hospital in a private vehicle. Deputies rendered medical attention until EMS could arrive to take the victim to the hospital.
There's been no update on the woman's condition and no arrests have been announced, as of the time of this report.
