A Greenville man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for an armed robbery at the Southern Pride Gas Station located on Nazareth Church Road in the Startex community of Spartanburg County in October of 2021.
44 year old Carl Darel Peterson, pleaded guilty on Tuesday in Spartanburg to Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, 1st Degree Assault and two weapons violations.
Peterson, who admitted to the robbery when arrested, had a lengthy criminal history prior to his latest arrest with convictions for crimes in both North and South Carolina.
