The charge stems from a crash in November of 2020 on I-85 in Spartanburg County. The Highway Patrol says Fuller was traveling at speeds of well over 100 miles per hour just prior to crashing into another vehicle causing a multi-car pile up. The crash killed 45 year old, Paul Swick of Blacksburg, and caused traffic on 85 to be backed up for several hours.

Fuller first refused a urine test after the crash. A warrant was obtained forcing him to comply with the test, meth and the prescription drug klonopin were found in his system. Fuller has been sentenced to 18 years, he will have to serve 85 percent of the sentence before being parole eligible.
