An Upstate man has been sentenced for his role in a drug trafficking scheme that resulted in a shooting at the GSP airport in 2022.
The U.S. Department Of Justice says 34 year old Raquentin Kendrick Gray-Miller has been sentenced to a charge of intent to distribute marijuana.
Court evidence says that Miller and another man flew into GSP with 50 pounds of marijuana in suitcases. The two were loading the stash into a 3rd co-conspirators vehicle in a parking garage at GSP. Two men then drove and tried to rob the traffickers and a shootout ensued.
One trafficker was injured before the robbers drove away. Miller has been sentenced to two years in federal prison, there is no parole in the federal system.
