A pair of Upstate parents are facing charges after their toddler child reportedly ingested drugs. The two year old boy was found unresponsive at a home in Union County Wednesday morning.
The child's parents, Jorden Allen Thompson and Taylor Marie Cogdill have been arrested for unlawful conduct toward a child. Law Enforcement from both the city of Union and Union County responded to the home around 7AM and found that the child had taken some sort of drugs.
The child was treated by EMS at the scene and taken to Greenville Memorial. A three month old baby was also found in the home and was taken into protective custody.
