Residents in one Upstate town may notice an increase in police presence in the coming day, but there's no need for alarm. The Greenville County School District says, one of its schools will serve as the site for law enforcement training this week.
The Mauldin Police Department is holding active shooter training at Mauldin Middle School, throughout the week. GCS Spokeswoman Whitney Hanna says, no students are on campus at Mauldin Middle this week and the training is closed to the public.
