An Upstate police department is looking for help from the public in an effort to solve a cold murder case. The Greer Police Department is hoping new information will emerge regarding the killing of Marquis Richey. He was 28 years old, when he was fatally shot after answering the door of his home in Greer, in June of 2020.
Six years later, police are still hoping to serve justice and give Richey's family closure. Police say they have pursued every available lead in the case, but no arrests have been made in the case. Police are offering a total of $12,000 dollars for information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with info is urged to contact the Greer PD at 864-848-2151.
