An Upstate school was put on lockdown Thursday after gunshots rang out nearby. The Gaffney Police Department says, Ewing Middle School was locked down after a report of shots fired from a wooded area between the school and a residential neighborhood.
Police say, no credible threat was found on campus, and the lockdown was lifted. No arrests have been announced; the incident remains under investigation.
