An Upstate Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in solving two shooting cases. Cherokee County Sheriff Steve Mueller says two shootings have happened this month at the same Gaffney trailer park and there's been no real cooperation from neighborhood residents.
On May 1st, 22 year old Demetrius Woods was shot and killed at the Providence Road Mobile Home Park. Mueller named Scottie Lindsay as a person of interest but say's they have been unable to locate him since the shooting.
This past Monday there was another shooting in the same location, the victim was shot in the hand and four homes were hit with gunfire. Investigators say witnesses have not provided any pertinent information on that incident either. The Sheriff urges anyone with info to call Crime Stoppers at 888-Crime-SC.
