An Upstate sheriff has provided an update on the search for a missing hiker. Pickens County Sheriff Tommy Blankenship posted a video about the search on social media, Monday.
The Sheriff says despite their best efforts they have not been able to locate 52 year old, Stephanie Womacks. She was hiking at Table Rock State Park and has been missing since March 3rd. The Sheriff says, he does not believe foul play is involved in her disappearance.
State and federal authorities have also assisted in the search. The case remains open and Womacks is still missing, as of this time.
