An Upstate Sheriff's Office has been investigating the death of a young child there late last week.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says a 5 year old boy died in Pelzer, last Friday. The untimely death prompted an investigation. The Sherriff's Office says the death does not appear to be suspicious.
The child has been identified as 5 year Anakan Tarron Lear Baldwin of Pelzer. The Coroner's Office is expected to release more information on the boys death. It appears to have come after some sort of medical episode.
Baldwin is described as a child who loved life and brought joy to all that knew him.
