Two incidents involved teenagers, the other involved a two year old toddler. The two year old was taken to a hospital for treatment and then was released. A 14 year old also received medical attention.

Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw said "We wanted to send this alert to parents so they can be aware of this products, to make sure their children do not have access to them".

Currently in South Carolina, anyone can purchase THC gummies that have no more than .3 % THC. However, SLED says that over half of these type of products they have tested have more than the legal limit of THC.
