A suspect accused of bomb making is now in custody after a search in the Upstate, today. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says Anthony Kyle Jenkins was found after fleeing into the woods along Highway 29 in Williamston.
The Sheriff's Office says Jenkins is charged with possession of a destructive device. The Bomb Squad reportedly found Jenkins was making homemade bombs and creating small explosions.
Jenkins fled on foot when Deputies arrived and was apprehended after an extensive search.
