An Upstate teacher is facing charges for an inappropriate relationship with a student. Micah Lanford a now former teacher at Boiling Springs High School is charged with 8 counts of sexual battery of a student.
Spartanburg County School District Two sent a notice to parents last week about an investigation into an inappropriate relationship between a student and teacher.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says more charge against Lanford could be forthcoming as the investigation continues. The District announced that Lanford resigned from his position while the matter was under investigation, prior to his arrest.
