The Upstate teacher who posted controversial comments online about Charlie Kirk's death has now been fired.
Greenville County School District Spokesman Tim Waller says the district investigated and confirmed that Wynne Boliek did write the statement.
Boliek was a teacher at Southside High School and posted about Kirk's death saying ""Thoughts and prayers to his children but in my honest opinion America became greater today. There I said it".
The District's statement on Boliek's firing says " We strongly condemn the message shared by the former employee as it does not reflect the standards we expect of our staff."
