Upstate Wal-Mart evacuated after bomb threat Wednesday

An Upstate retail store was evacuated Wednesday night following a bomb threat. Police were called to the Wal-Mart on East Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer, just after 6:30 PM.

The Greer Fire Department says, everyone was ushered out of the store and a sweep was conducted. No threat was reported to be found.

The incident remains under investigation by the Greer Police Department. No arrests have been announced.
