An Upstate woman is in custody after allegedly shooting her boyfriend over the weekend. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded just after 130 Sunday Afternoon to a reported shooting on Lake El Jima Drive in Greenville.
The victim was injured and was transported to the hospital, where he's expected to recover. 25 year old, Kelsey Lanae Fleming was arrested and is charged with aggravated domestic violence, unlawful conduct towards a child, and a weapons violation.
Investigators say the shooting came after the couple were in a verbal altercation.
