The South Carolina Highway Patrol has announced an arrest in a fatal hit and run from over the weekend. The crash happened in Greenville County at the intersection of 183 and Montgomery Avenue, Saturday morning around 2:45.
The Highway Patrol says a driver hit a bicyclist and fled the scene. The bicyclist died from injuries suffered in the crash.
On Sunday around noo, 25 year old Samantha Rodriguez of Taylors was arrested in connection to the accident. Rodriguez is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal collision and for not having a South Carolina drivers license.
