An Anderson County woman has been sentenced to three decades behind bars for killing her boyfriend. Andreana Shanice Ware has been convicted of murder and a weapons violation.
Investigators say, Ware shot her boyfriend in February of 2024 as he was entering her home, then attempted to stage the scene to make it appear as self-defense.
She initially told authorities the shooting was accidental, but evidence showed she cleaned up the scene before calling 911. Prosecutors noted the victim, 33 year old Keenan Turman, had a history of violence involving Ware.
Ware will be required to serve the full 30 year sentence and will not be eligible for early release.
