An Upstate woman is facing an attempted murder charge after a shooting incident , Friday. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting on Highway 123 in Easley. Upon arrival, deputies found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
55 year old, Renee Lavonne Simon was arrested the following day and charged with attempted murder and a weapons violation. She is being held without bond at the Pickens County Jail.
