Three of the Upstate's top lawmen won their respective primary races in convincing fashion. One other Sheriff's race in the Upstate will be determined a run off.
In Greenville County, incumbent Sheriff Hobart Lewis won in a landslide taking over 80% of the vote. Challenger Mike Fortner garnered just over 16%.
In Spartanburg County incumbent Sheriff Chuck Wright took 83% of the vote, challenger Nick Duncan got 16%.
In Laurens County, Don Reynolds secured another term getting over 70% of the vote defeating Chris Wilkes who garnered 27%. None of the three incumbents will face a challenger in November's general election.
In Pickens County, Tommy Blankenship and Chuck James led a five man field. Those two will meet in a run off June 25th.
