One person is dead after a shooting at an Upstate motel, Friday afternoon. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to the Budget Inn Motel on Bruce Road in Greenville, around 2:30PM. Upon arrival, deputies found a man was pronounced dead at the scene. He's been identified as 49 year old, Sulayman Blue of Greenville.
The Sheriff's Office says, that a pick up truck drove past the same motel Saturday and fired shots. Investigators have not yet said whether that attack was targeted or related to the Friday shooting.
At this time, no arrests have been announced in connection to the shooting. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 23-Crime.
