Nearly a month after a fatal mobile home fire in Oconee County, the victim has been identified. As we previously reported, SLED agents and local authorities all responded to a mobile home fire off of Wells Highway in Seneca, February 28th.
A man was found dead at the scene of the fire. The Oconee County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 34 year old, Brent Freeman of Seneca. The cause of the fire has still not been revealed and no further details have been released.
The fire remains under investigation by the Oconee County Sheriff's Office and Seneca Fire Department.
