A wanted Oconee County man is facing a list of charges after a pursuit with deputies, there Wednesday. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says 57 year old, Qawi Aziz Kabir of Westminster was arrested on warrants for trafficking crack and other drugs.
Kabir was seen driving on Garden Circle near Seneca and refused to pull over during a traffic stop. He then led deputies on a short pursuit, before stopping the vehicle and running into the woods. Deputies chase Kabir down and took him into custody.
Kabir faces new charges from Wednesday's chase, they include failure to stop, resisting arrest and possession of cocaine.
