A dangerous, wanted fugitive from out of state was apprehended in Gaffney on Monday. The U.S. Marshals Service says 38 year old, Charles Ray Blevins of West Virginia was arrested at a home there.
He was wanted for 2nd degree murder in Kentucky and was wanted for violating his parole in West Virginia. He served about a decade in prison there for a previous murder conviction.
Officials say Blevins was up for consideration in being named one of America's 15 most wanted fugitives. Marshals say that when they approached the home, Blevins tried to run, he then fell and broke his leg.
