A suspect is in custody after a deadly weekend shooting in Simpsonville. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office say, s 20-year-old Nylen Antraveon Harris has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Deputies responded to the Ballantyne Commons apartment complex off Fairview Road Friday evening, where they found 21-year-old Jordan Elijah Rouse of Simpsonville suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Greenville County Coroner has ruled Rouse's death a homicide. Harris was denied bond and remains at the Greenville County Detention Center.
