Evening in Greenville are coming alive once again with the return of Downtown Alive on Thursdays and Main Street Fridays on Fridays starting this week and continuing through August.
Both events begin at 5:30 pm on their respective days every week from Thursday the 14th and Friday the 15th through Thursday, August 29th and Friday, August 30th at Numa Square in downtown Greenville.
“Downtown Greenville has quickly become a favorite destination for residents and visitors, boasting a variety of events,” said Greenville City Council at-large member Dorothy Dowe. “Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive and Greenville Heritage Main Street Fridays are two events that really add to our city’s unique charm. And best of all, admissions to these events are free!”
The returning weekly events will feature live music, drinks, food, and art through 8:30 and 9:30 pm each respective night.
Metropolitan Arts Council Executive Director Alan Ethridge also explained that proceeds go towards supporting local art programs and initiatives.
