On 20 September 2020, Alejandro Cruz Jr. was involved in a shooting incident on Toccoa Highway in Westminster, South Carolina.

Cruz is accused of discharging a firearm in to the home and vehicles in the driveway while the victims were on the porch and inside the residence.
Cruz is considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
