After an impressive dismantling of TCU Monday night Georgia has become the first college football program to win back to back national titles in over a decade. The Dawgs left no doubt in their 65-7 rout of TCU in Los Angeles, Monday night. Georgia took control of the game with a run of 28 unanswered points in the 1st half to take a 38-7 lead into the halftime locker room. Georgia was dominate on both sides of the ball racking up nearly 600 yards of total offense, while holding TCU to under 200 yards total. Georgia now becomes the 1st program to win back-to-back National Championships in the College Football Playoff Era. They join Alabama, Southern Cal and Nebraska , as the just the 4th program to go back-to-back in the last 30 years. Georgia will lose QB Stetson Bennett and some others, but should return TE Brock Bowers and other playmakers and lineman on both sides of the ball.
