As students have gone back to school, restaurants that were already understaffed are losing more workers. Restaurants have been in large part understaffed since the covid pandemic began in 2020. The industry is also dealing with less cash flow for payroll due to the major increases in food costs. A recent data study says, 2/3 of restaurants are understaffed. That study also says, 60% have cut down their hours of operation and 38% are closed on days they would have normally been open, if staffed properly. That brings me to today's question, will restaurants ever be fully staffed again? Let us know, below.
