Tropical Storm Ian has hit Florida hard and is expected to make landfall near South Carolina's coast. Our staff meteorologists project that the Upstate will get at least 4 inches of rain and that some spots may see 6 to 7 inches of rain. Data from the SCDNR says, that there is nearly an 80% chance that at least parts of South Carolina will be impacted by a tropical storm system each year. The DNR says inland flooding is always a concern from these types of system. They also say, more than half of all landfalling hurricanes that have hit the state have produced at least one tornado. That is also a possible concern with this system. With that said, today's question is do you think this storm will produce a tornadoes in the state? Let us know, below.
