A Western North Carolina man is facing charges for trafficking drugs after an incident in the Upstate, earlier this week.
The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says ,32 year old Carl David Ferrin IV of Cashiers is charged with trafficking meth and receiving stolen goods. The charges come from after deputies responded Tuesday afternoon to a report of a stolen Uhaul trailer near Ebenezer Road in West Union.
Deputies responded and confirmed that the trailer was stolen after they encountered Ferrin and another man.
During the investigation deputies found more than an ounce and a half of meth on the property. Investigators say Ferrin took responsibility for the drugs.
