A Western North Carolina man has been sentenced to prison after calling in a bomb threat, earlier this year. Court records show that 33 year old Cody Blake Strickler pleaded guilty to calling in a bomb threat against the Haywood County Courthouse.
The incident happened back in March and prompted the evacuation of the building. Traffic was also blocked off in the area. A search was conducted and no credible threat was found.
Strickler has been sentenced to serve between 5 and 7 years in the North Carolina prison system.
