WNC suspect facing drug and gun charges after traffic stop

A suspect is facing a list of charges after being found with guns and drugs during a traffic stop in Western North Carolina, earlier this month.

The Haywood County Sheriff's Office says 38 year old, Cody Wyatt Bullis of Asheville was pulled over while driving in the town of Clyde, December 19th.

The Sheriff's Office says Bullis is a convicted felon and was known to deputies. During the traffic stop deputies found over 12 ounces of meth and multiple guns in the vehicle.

Bullis was taken into custody and is charged with trafficking meth, possession of a stolen gun, multiple weapons violations and other crimes. He's being held without bond in Haywood County.
