
A suspect is in custody for murder after a deadly stabbing in Western North Carolina. As we previously reported, the Asheville Police Department responded to a reported stabbing on Smokey Park Highway just after 4AM, Wednesday.
Upon arrival, officers found a man lying on the railroad tracks suffering from multiple stab wounds. He died from injuries suffered in the incident.
Now, police say that 27 year old, Kala Fralick has been arrested and is charged with 2nd degree murder. Investigators say, Fralick was identified as the suspect through forensic evidence.
The victim has been identified as 30 year old, Dustin Burwell. Fralick is being held in Buncombe County on a bind of $500,000.
